Denton board approves August claims, Keno transfers and July payroll

At the Aug. 11 meeting the Village board approved Claims List A totaling $10,468.54 and Claims List B totaling $6,771.22, as well as Keno Checking claims of $134,130.00 and July net payroll of $9,664.67. The Claims A ledger in the minutes lists individual items including League of NeMuni membership ($950.00), Johnson Services charges, Norris Public Power utilities and other routine vendor payments.
The minutes record the motion to approve claims as moved by Trustee Doug Rosekrans and seconded by Trustee Amanda Fangmeier; the motion carried. The Keno Checking entries include a $100,000 transfer to a SFIT account and a NE Revenue quarterly tax payment of $34,130.00 recorded in the claims list.
