During the citizen-concern portion of the Aug. 11 meeting, Craig VanSlyke presented multiple issues for the board's attention: street sealing and striping quality, lagoon repair needs, condition of outdoor bathrooms, the Post Office sidewalk, rubber matting at the playground and general summer landscape maintenance. The minutes record the breadth of his concerns but do not indicate that the board took formal action on any single item during the meeting.
Separately, the maintenance report noted routine work (sewer jetted by Johnson Services and water tower maintenance by McGuire Iron); the board approved street-related contracts later in the meeting that may address some street-sealing and striping concerns.
