Council member Shawn Hamilton said the town's metal-collection program is "going well and consistent," reported the tree dump had been burned and piled and is ready for additional limbs, and said he had spoken with Lou Wilfong about hauling tires out of the community. According to the minutes, Tim Pauly suggested the county could assist with the cost of tire removal, possibly by bringing in dumpsters. Hamilton requested compensation for fuel to support labor on the tree dump and moving metal and tires.
Hamilton also proposed changing the meeting cadence to twice monthly through July 24 (the 1st and the 3rd, with the 3rd reserved for official business) to keep operational work moving while preserving a regular official-meeting slot. The transcript records proposals and requests but no formal approval or funding allocation for compensation or county assistance.
