Kimberley Schorr, speaking for the Election Committee, said the election process is starting and that chair Jim Penny has recused himself; Kimberley will be the point of contact for election questions.
She said "the vote will open January 2nd and remain open until January 25th until midnight HST. All paper ballots should be sent directly to Election Buddy in Henderson, Nevada. We will not accept them at the office, nor will we be responsible for mailing them." The committee emphasized that paper ballots must be returned by mail to ElectionBuddy rather than to the local office.
Committee members advised voters who need assistance to contact the office or ElectionBuddy support. Kimberley also described a past blueprint from Carbonaro Associates for annual audits that had not been followed, which board members linked to present governance issues.
