At the Oct. 9 meeting Janice Tucker announced she will resign as treasurer but remain a board member while assisting staff to complete the membership and accounting transition. She said members who have sold properties are being deactivated in the new accounting system and that preparation of 2026 member assessment invoices is underway.
Janice provided a financial snapshot: payments received $3,643; expenses to date $3,603; and total funds of $283,677.73 across Bank of Hawaii (checking $168,525.71; savings $23,058.62) and HFS accounts (checking $4,585.42; reserve $57,371.76; receivables $30,136.22). She also said about 20 new escrows are expected from County buy‑outs and that staff have contacted multiple vendors and banks to obtain missing documentation for reconciliation; both banks charge $2.50 per check copy.
