Board approves reimbursements for past mailings and returned member lists

During New Business on July 10, 2025, the Leilani Community Association Board approved two reimbursement motions. First, after Marianne Farrell read a supporting statement, the board voted 4-1 to reimburse her for funds she spent on a prior mailing. Later the board unanimously approved reimbursing Secretary John Segalla and Jim Penny $142 each for faulty members' lists that had been returned.
Board members discussed, but tabled, a separate proposal on reimbursing notarized forms and also tabled a motion on reimbursing lava-lot owners for a $100 assessment until further information can be gathered about legality and process. The reimbursements that passed will be processed by the association office.
