Janice acknowledged volunteer Kimberly Shore for assistance coordinating finances and said the association disposed of Pitney Bowes machines that had been a recurring cost. She said the accountant (Carbanaro, named in the meeting) is being provided information to complete tax filings.
The recommendation to hire an accountant was presented as a step to bring the books up to date and reduce what Janice characterized as "wasteful spending." No formal motion to hire an accountant was recorded at the meeting.
