The Henry County Board approved its consent agenda at its April 16 recessed annual session in Cambridge, placing reports from Bi-State, the Health Department, Veterans Services, Clerk/Recorder fee reports and the Henry County Economic Development Partnership on file. Chairman Kippy Breeden moved the consent agenda and Member Bob Wachtel seconded; the motion carried on a voice vote.
The consent agenda included confirmations and reappointments to local boards and districts. Reappointments recorded in the minutes include Chad Stropes, John O'Neill and Randy DeBaillie to the Orion Community Fire Protection District (terms through April 30, 2029); Jim Mortier to the Colona Community Fire Protection District (term through April 30, 2029); and Gerald DeSmith to the Annawan-Alba Fire District (term beginning April 30, 2026). Other items placed on file or held for later action include reappointments to the Board of Review and appointments to the Hammond Henry Hospital Board and the Emergency Telephone Systems Board.
