Council adopts higher fines for property-maintenance violations

Olson said staff reviewed neighboring communities when drafting the change and recommended the increase to support the code‑enforcement program.
Councilperson Rickliff moved adoption of ordinance number 02-O-2026-2027 to amend the city code on property maintenance penalties; Councilperson Martinez seconded. The council conducted a roll-call vote and the ordinance passed. The council did not add further amendments at the meeting.
