The council’s secretary reviewed the financial report ending March 31, 2026, and Member Sue Ann Manning reported that she had not yet received a fire-department report from Maggie Holmes. Chairperson Angelopoulos updated members that White Pine County maintenance had ordered park equipment and delivered it to town storage, and she noted several streetlights remain out and need inspection.
Member Manning said the part-time parks-person position has been advertised and reported preparations for McGill’s Easter egg hunt, stating there were "over 3000 plus eggs that have been stuffed and ready for all the kids in McGill." The Cultural Center/Kinnear Library music night was reported to have eight performers lined up.
No firm staffing decisions or dates for street-light repairs were recorded in the minutes; items remain in departmental follow-up.
