"Refers the zoning text amendment and special permit application for a health club at 1101 Main Street to the planning commission and schedules a public hearing for 01/27/2025," Deputy Mayor Riley said while presenting resolution j5. The vote to refer and set the hearing carried unanimously.
The rezoning referral begins the planning‑commission review process; the council did not vote to grant a permit or change zoning at the Dec. 23 meeting but moved the application into the standard public‑hearing and review timeline.
