Bids for the Wisconsin Street Bridge were due the following day and a recommendation for award is expected at the next meeting. Wessler Engineering is nearing completion of the redesign for 5th Street and Center Street, which included widening the roadway by four feet and drainage modifications required by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources; utility relocations are being coordinated. Old Ridge Road sanitary sewer replacement is moving forward pending approval of pipe material (corrugated metal pipe under consideration); County Line Road remains closed while contractor repairs continue and are expected to finish within the next two weeks.
