Marseilles board approves resignations, hires and a future retirement

A motion approved resignations from Cheyenne Timm (fifth-grade teacher), Lainey Mason (junior high teacher), Haylee Casey (part-time custodian), Lainey Hicks and Tonya Thompson (TNT club sponsors), and Jared Mason (boys basketball coach). The board also approved transfers/hires for Lexi Greve (fifth-grade teacher) and Lisa Smith (special education teacher), pending appropriate licensure and background checks. Separately, the board recorded Janice Johnson’s intent to retire at the end of the 2028–2029 school year; that intent was approved by motion and unanimous vote.
