Board hears student-activity updates: STEAM Gala, Washington, D.C. trip and 8th‑grade events

Principal Shawn Collins and staff also reviewed 8th‑grade activities: an educational field trip to Nell's Woodland in Ottawa, a parent‑organized 8th‑grade celebration scheduled May 3 at Fiesta on Main, and an 8th‑grade promotion ceremony planned for May 15 at 6 p.m. Collins said families will be required to request tickets for admission to promote safety and an improved experience for attendees.
