Superintendent Brenda Donahue told the Marseilles ESD 150 board on May 22 that the district’s kindergarten wing roof project has become more expensive.
"The cost has increased by over $30,000 due to insulation and permitting, for example," Donahue said, and she identified the higher estimate as a key reason the fiscal-year budget was included for public display that evening. No additional contractor bids or revised total project amount were presented at the meeting.
