Council Member Tom Stugmyer moved—and Council Member Zach Berger seconded—a motion to move Ordinance No. 26-068 to third reading. The ordinance would authorize the Director of Public Service to advertise for proposals and enter into a contract for design services to reduce sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs) in SSO Areas 6 and 8. The motion passed unanimously and the ordinance advanced to the next reading.
Council discussion and the minutes indicate prior review by the Public Service Committee. The ordinance advances the procurement process; no contract award or design selection occurred at the meeting.
