At a public hearing on item 3.2, Jackie Duffy spoke for Eversource and described a request to place roughly 49–54 feet of conduit in Howard Street to provide electric service for a vehicle‑charging station at 33 Thorndike Street.
Duffy, who identified herself during the hearing, said the conduit would support a new EV charging point and outlined the approximate footage and pickup location. The clerk recorded no additional public testimony and closed the hearing; the council laid the item on the table for approval in a subsequent consent vote.
"We would like to install 54 feet of conduit in Howard Street to provide a new service for an electric vehicle charging station at 33 Thorndike Street," Jackie Duffy said when recognized.
