The Facilities & Operations Committee recommended and the board approved an escrow and reimbursement agreement with South Whitehall Township tied to the Parkland Transportation Center project. Committee chair Mister Hine said the escrow fees for the project are $49,000 and that the agreement permits reimbursement of professional fees incurred by the township for plan review, including engineering and legal consultants and related public-notice costs.
Mister Hine said the agreement is intended to help the township cover professional fees and administrative costs while the district completes development plans for the Transportation Center. The board approved the motion on voice vote with no recorded roll call.
The administration also obtained board approval to sign any additional documentation related to the Transportation Center and related demolition or permitting items pending legal review by the district solicitor. A related construction change order for the Kernsville drainage project recorded a $20,912.30 credit.
