Peekskill staff recommend Toronto firm Trajectory for $55,000 DRI branding contract
Summary

Carol (speaker 3) summarized the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) logo and branding procurement. She said staff received 96 proposals, shortlisted 15 and interviewed four finalists before recommending Trajectory, a Toronto-based firm, as the best fit for the city's branding and wayfinding work. Carol said Trajectory offered the lowest fee among finalists and that staff recommend a $55,000 contract to cover design, deliverables and travel.
Carol described the engagement and deliverables: a discovery phase with workshops, a public-engagement plan, a style guide and scalable files for print and digital use. "They were the lowest fee, of our finalists... there's $55,000 for all of their work," she said. Council members applauded the competitive process and asked staff to provide the full contract and public-engagement schedule when the resolution returns for a vote next week.
