Council appoints Luella Kiker and Kirby Wayne, declares Sheriff’s interactive panel surplus

Chesterfield County Council approved two board appointments and a surplus declaration at its July 6 meeting. Councilman Brandon Price moved to appoint Luella Kiker to the CHESCO Services Board to complete Robbie L. Robertson Sr.'s term; Councilman Ethan Foard seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Separately, the Alligator Fire District Board recommended Kirby Wayne to fill an opening; Councilman Eddie Kirkley moved the appointment, Councilwoman Hattie Burns seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
Director Heather Felts presented a request that the Sheriff’s Department declare a Clear Touch Interactive Panel (Model 5070H, Serial #H70EAVV031V-207140700019XA0010) as surplus. Councilman Ethan Foard moved to declare the unit surplus; Councilman Brandon Price seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Council also expressed thanks to long‑serving volunteer George McCoy for over 35 years of service to the Alligator Fire District.
