Multiple planning items recommended for approval; site visit scheduled for proposed Dayton-area developments

Mark Reid, Sheridan County Planner, told the board that an applicant who had considered de-annexation will remain in Dayton and that the Planning & Zoning Commission forwarded three items—an Allee conditional-use permit (CUP), the Deitz Legacy Home Subdivision and a Zeigler lot-size variance—with recommendations for approval. Reid said the items are scheduled for the June 2 county agenda.
Reid also said the Koltiska parcel division, following a recent rezoning to rural residential, will appear on the June 2 agenda. He noted a site visit is scheduled tomorrow at 10 a.m. to view proposed developments east of Dow Road and north of Highway 335.
The planner's update framed the upcoming agenda and on-site review as preparatory steps before formal consideration by the board on June 2.
