The Kingsbury County Board of Equalization met April 15, 2026, at 8:35 A.M. in the county courthouse courtroom in De Smet and approved a series of routine property-tax items, including additions and removals from tax-exempt and agricultural rolls.
Chairman Kyle Lee presided over the meeting with Commissioners Roger Walls, Steve Spilde, Troy Nelson and Corey Lundquist present. The board approved the meeting agenda on a motion by Roger Walls, seconded by Troy Nelson; all present voted aye. Multiple subsequent motions to approve tax-exempt listings, Ag-status changes, owner-occupied updates, veteran exemptions and the senior/disabled freeze approvals were carried unanimously, and the board adjourned the Equalization session and returned to regular session at 9:04 A.M.
