Auditor gets new computer and snow-removal contract approved; election agreements authorized

Echo Steffensen, Kingsbury County Auditor, presented several administrative items to the Board on Feb. 3.
The Board authorized Vice-Chairman Lundquist to sign combined election agreements with Erwin and Badger. Steffensen requested and received approval to purchase a new computer for the Auditor’s office at a cost of $1,299.99. She also presented a snow removal contract with Mark Burmeister that sets rates at $100 for the first hour and $50 for each subsequent hour per event; the Board approved the contract and authorized Vice-Chairman Lundquist to sign.
Steffensen reported the CPI for 2026 taxes payable 2027 is 2.5% and said the county's unassigned cash percentage for end of year 2025 was 49.92%. The items were approved by unanimous vote as recorded in the minutes.
