The Harvey County Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution 2025-18 on June 17 to set the county’s annual solid-waste service fee. The fees remain unchanged from the prior year at $36 per residence and $39 per solid-waste unit for businesses, with a one-unit minimum for businesses.
County Administrator Kevin Frymire and staff explained the resolution’s role in assessing fees on real property owners and the process for billing and appeals. Commissioner Terry Scott moved to adopt Resolution 2025-18; Commissioner Becky Reimer seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The resolution directs that assessments be included on the annual property tax statements and lays out appeal and refund procedures.
