Marseilles ESD 150 board accepts resignations, approves hires and FMLA requests

Morey then moved, seconded by Christy Carpenter, to approve transfers and hires pending appropriate licensure and background checks for Stephen Parker (substitute maintenance & custodial to permanent maintenance), Bethany Gama (ELL to Junior High ELA), Christian Honn (substitute to paraprofessional) and Dawn Putnam (lunchroom aide to paraprofessional); that motion also passed on a unanimous recorded vote.
Cherise Byone moved, and Julie Morey seconded, to approve a request for FMLA from Ali Clark; the board voted to grant the leave. Each personnel action was recorded as Aye by Barnes, Byone, Carpenter, Cowie, Morey and Thomas.
The board did not attach conditions beyond the usual requirement that hires obtain appropriate licensure and pass background checks before beginning in their new or permanent roles.
