Council approves annual contract for grant-writing support up to $25,000

"We would like to be able to retain them so that we can work with them on a project by project basis just automatically and and fund it up to $25,000 in a year to be billed at a $120 per hour," a staff member said. Council discussed prior spending with the firm and agreed the annual cap and hourly rate were reasonable.
The council passed a resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into a consulting agreement capped at $25,000; staff said they would monitor use and report back on expenditures.
