Council approves three-year BizLibrary training contract for staff

Joanna Duncan, director of human resources, told the council the city renegotiated its training contract with Business Training Library (BizLibrary) and secured a three-year agreement at $11,000 per year. She said the HR budget contains funding for the professional services line for 2025.
Council members asked procedural questions about contract execution and were told the city manager would be authorized to execute the agreement consistent with budgetary lines. The motion to adopt the contract language carried during the resolutions packet later in the meeting.
"The current agreement ... sunsets next Monday," Duncan said while explaining the renegotiated pricing and funding source.
