The Peekskill Common Council voted unanimously to approve a package of administrative resolutions authorizing service agreements and retainers for 2025.
Council approved the Westchester Journal News as the city's official newspaper and designated Westchester Hispano as a supplemental paper. Resolutions authorized continuing relationships with firms including Munistat Financial Advisory Services (municipal advisory), PKF O'Connor Davies (auditing), Harris Beach (bond counsel) and CPL (engineering consulting). The council also approved a three-year learning-management agreement for city staff with Business Training Library (BizLibrary) at $11,000 per year, according to city presentations.
City Manager (Matt) told the council that the procurement and budget lines support the contracts and the comptroller confirmed funds are budgeted. All votes on the packet carried without recorded opposition.
The council noted the firms will be engaged under the city's procurement rules and that specific budgets or fee schedules will be brought back when necessary.
