The board conducted a closed session later in the evening under G.S. 143-318.11(a)(5) to discuss a real estate matter; Mayor Young reported afterward that the commissioners reached a consensus on that matter, and separate minutes will record details. The board did not adopt any formal resolution or directive regarding USPS at the public meeting.
