Commissioner Chad Whetzel moved and Commissioner Tom Handy seconded a motion to approve an amendment to the Subrecipient Agreement between Whitman County and Community Action Center to apply Consolidated Homeless Grant and Local Document Recording Fee funds to public-service activities.
Finance Director Jessica Jensema and Jeff Guyett of the Community Action Center spoke during a public hearing about the benefits the grant provides to Whitman County residents. The board approved the amendment; the minutes record the action as carried. The hearing had no additional public comment and was adjourned by Chairman Arthur D. Swannack.
