The Harvey County Commission recessed into executive session multiple times during the July 1 meeting to consult with the county counselor under the Kansas Statute exception for attorney-client privileged matters. Becky Reimer made the motions to recess at 9:48 a.m., to extend at 10:10 a.m., and for a further recess at 10:20 a.m.; all motions were seconded by Terry Scott and passed unanimously. The sessions listed attendees including the commissioners, county administrator, finance director, county clerk and the county counselor.
Each recess opened and closed to the public on the record with time and attendees noted; the meeting returned to open session and adjourned at 10:36 a.m.
