Board members on Aug. 3 recapped a recent Backpack Bash that provided school supplies to more than 180 students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The Chair and members thanked volunteers and community sponsors and discussed redistribution of leftover supplies to schools or families in need.
"Oasis Church did a bunch of the work, had a lot of volunteers there," the Chair said, thanking community partners and highlighting the city’s role in coordinating lists and grants for the event. Board members noted Toyota, Pathway Church and the Princeton health department among contributors and said extras are kept for future distribution.
