After returning to open session the board approved multiple personnel actions. Amanda Nichols moved to accept letters of resignation from Beth Anderson (Elementary School Teacher), Sheila Boucher (Elementary School Teacher), Krystin Barney (Paraprofessional) and Anna Taylor (Paraprofessional); Amanda Guilfoyle seconded and the motion passed 3–0. The board also voted to rescind its previous approval of employment for Spencer W. Hayes for the 2026–27 school year (motion by Amanda Nichols, seconded by Amanda Guilfoyle). The board approved hiring Alicia Gibson as an adjunct teacher for High School American Sign Language and hired two certified personnel for 2026–27: Faith Wall (High School Teacher) and Alexciaya Vargas (Middle School Teacher). Amanda Nichols moved to approve the superintendent's contract "as discussed"; Amanda Guilfoyle seconded and the motion carried 3–0.
