Union City approves parking and zoning ordinance amendments, and sets trick‑or‑treat hours

At its Sept. 16 meeting, the Union City Borough Council unanimously approved several ordinance and calendar items. Council approved amendments to Parking Ordinance 1137 to restrict unlawful and disabled vehicles and revise schedules I, II and IV; the ordinance had been advertised Sept. 9, 2024.
Council also approved an amendment to Zoning Ordinance 1118 adding definitions and regulation of permitted use zones for redemption games (games of skill) and adding section 701.04 to permit accessory structures on adjoining lots. Councilors approved trick‑or‑treating on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
All three items were moved and seconded by councilors and carried unanimously in the meeting minutes.
