A company requested placement on the agenda to ask for a different permit fee for a vape truck. Mayor Kris Wyatt said she personally did not want a vape truck coming to town, nor did she want "an alcohol or some sexuality explicit truck coming to town," and asked councilmembers for guidance.
Councilmembers debated whether to ban specific vendor types by ordinance or handle them case-by-case via special-use permits. City Attorney Beth Anne Childs said she needed to research legal options. Councilmember Judd Johns moved and Jeff Roberts seconded to table previewing an ordinance on vendor permits regarding vape to the Jan. 5, 2026 meeting; the motion passed on roll call with all present voting Aye.
