Mapleton to standardize Chapter 7 violation notice with form letter and 30-day cure period

The committee discussed listing specific violations (weeds, junk, rubbish, trash conditions that harbor rats, mice, vermin, snakes, and delapidated buildings) in each notice and attaching ordinance language. The board did not adopt new ordinance language at the Sept. 10 meeting; the discussion focused on standardizing notices and documentation procedures for enforcement under Chapter 7.
