He said recent issues included suicide and mental-health responses, vandalism and burglary; the chief noted a domestic call that lasted from 8:50 PM to 2:00 AM.
Pernice said he and Officer Shelly attended Alert Active Shooter training July 24'25 hosted by Millcreek PD and that he applied to the Union City Community Foundation for funding for four tasers and for security cameras to expand coverage on North Main Street; the foundation awarded both requests.
