"Project started in March 2026 and was completed satisfactorily on 06/26/2026," the engineer reported.
Staff said the work reconstructed 155 curb ramps across 10 zones and that the total construction cost was $848,215, funded entirely by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program dollars. Council members asked clarifying questions about the placement of red-curb markings required by the daylighting law; staff explained engineers measure from flare geometry and standardize 20-foot setbacks when feasible. The council moved and approved acceptance of the work and the recommended release of retention after recordation of the notice of completion.
