Kimber Selberg, the fairgrounds director, reported that seasonal maintenance and painting projects are under way to refresh bollards, hydrants and rails ahead of the fair season. She thanked a sponsor for supporting water usage at the grounds and encouraged commissioners to visit for a tour.
Selberg said the Jordan World Circus will present two performances Friday and Saturday and reminded the public to buy tickets from official sources rather than social-media resellers. She described planned 4-H booths in the historic pavilion, guided tours for daycares on July 31, and other partnerships including the Sheridan Library and the Historic Preservation Commission. Selberg also said the fairgrounds will attempt outreach through high-school morning announcements to reduce speeding in parking areas.
