Robert Hillis, the county airport manager, told commissioners he has a final contract with Wagner Ranch Services for expansion of the long-term parking lot and that the project could begin as soon as next Monday. He said he is awaiting concurrence from the FAA before bringing an award for the replacement fire truck to the board.
Hillis said two bids were opened for the replacement fire truck, one from Rosenbauer and one from Oshkosh, and both appeared satisfactory. He said he would await FAA concurrence and then present a request for concurrence and consideration of award to the commissioners.
