Carneys Point advances Dunns Park improvements, playground contract increased

The Carneys Point Township Committee approved a $12,745.90 change order to the Landberg Construction contract for Recreation Complex playground improvements and authorized partial payment for completed work.
Mrs. Shaw told the committee the change order will fund replacement of toilets at the Recreation Complex. The committee approved partial payment #7 to Landberg Construction of $26,913.93 for work already completed. Earlier in the meeting Mrs. Shaw also reported that Penns Grove Middle School plans to donate $1,500 worth of trees to Dunns Park; two larger trees will be planted Saturday, June 28, with remaining plantings scheduled for the fall.
Separately, the committee awarded a contract to Landberg Construction for Dunns Park ADA improvements (Resolution 2025‑120). The committee also approved Change Order #1 related to the Recreation Complex project and discussed timelines: construction at Dunns Park is expected to begin soon with a general 90‑day completion target.
