Lone Tree council adopts routine business, sets dates and approves benefits and licenses

At its Aug. 3 meeting the Lone Tree City Council approved routine agenda and consent items, adopted two resolutions (2026-O and 2026-P), set meeting and event dates, renewed employee dental coverage, and approved two five-day alcohol licenses; all motions carried 5-0.
Mayor Pro-Tem Hamm called the Lone Tree City Council to order at 5:30 PM on Aug. 3. Councilmembers Hamm, Ford, Zadow, Goedken and Gluba were present; Mayor Josh Spilman was absent. The council approved the agenda and consent items and completed a series of routine motions; each vote was recorded as CARRIED 5-0.
Among actions taken, the council adopted Resolution 2026-O designating official posting locations for public meeting notices and later approved Resolution 2026-P, the annual street finance report. The body also set the September regular meeting for Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026 at 5:30 PM and fixed trick-or-treat hours for Oct. 31 from 5:30–7:30 PM. The meeting adjourned at 6:35 PM.
