Heartland of Story County reports services and says $300,000 ARPA aided 60 Forward Center

Deb Schildroth, Executive Director of Heartland of Story County, presented the nonprofit’s annual report to the Story County Board on March 24, 2026, highlighting the organization’s programs and services included in the submitted report.
Schildroth reported that $300,000.00 in American Rescue Plan Act funds were expended in 2022 to support completion of the 60 Forward Center facility and expressed Heartland’s gratitude for the county contribution. The board accepted the report; the board also noted that Assault Care Center Extending Shelter and Support (ACCESS) will provide its ARPA annual report at a future meeting.
