Staff described the "Framing Our Future" engagement hub and said the city is using QR codes, social media and a web form to collect input. The city council liaison said the site allows anonymous comments and threaded replies, but that current response levels are low.
"The whole whopping 33 responses thus far," the liaison said, prompting board members to recommend direct outreach to neighborhood associations, in-person presentations and paper collection boxes at community centers to reach older and less-online residents.
Board members also suggested putting survey QR codes on park kiosks and leveraging active volunteer groups to help collect more targeted feedback during the assessment phase. Staff agreed to bring draft survey questions to the board for review before public release.
