The Odessa School District Board of Directors adopted Resolution #2-2024-25 on Nov. 26, 2024, placing a one-year replacement capital levy of $125,000 on the Feb. 11, 2025 ballot to support modernization of school facilities. The motion was moved by Zach Schafer and seconded by Carmen Weishaar and passed 4-0.
The resolution states the levy would be collected in 2026 and estimates a rate of approximately $0.37 per $1,000 of assessed valuation. The board discussed the authorization during the regular meeting and adopted the resolution for ballot certification.
