Council amends special-meeting minutes to correct retreat location, approves remaining consent items

The mayor opened the Feb. 10 council meeting and moved to the consent agenda. City administrator Jody Sanders told the council that Councilman Jensen flagged an address error in the Jan. 24 special city council meeting minutes and asked that the location be corrected to the Fremont Friendship Center at 1730 West 16th Street in Fremont.
"We're going to make that change to say, the Fremont Friendship Center, 1730 West 16th Street in Fremont," Sanders said. Councilman Jensen moved to amend the minutes to reflect the corrected address; the amendment was seconded and the council then voted to approve the consent agenda with items 2, 6 and 7 removed for separate consideration.
The mayor then called for roll call votes on the amended consent item; the clerk read the names and the council recorded the action. The council indicated the remaining consent items were routine and approved them by motion.
