Residents urge speed-safety measures for tractors on Barstow/Bishop Road

Police Chief Josh Flore said the department has been working to get more speed-limit signage in the area and may pursue lowering the posted speed limit by conducting a speed study. Flore noted a "considerable amount of bicycle traffic in the area with limited shoulders," and Constable Bob Lake described current enforcement efforts. Hillman suggested issuing a press release to raise public awareness of safety concerns in the area.
