Town manager: Bay Road closure, wastewater work starting in August; recent house fire prompted water repairs

Town Manager Matt Lawless told the Selectboard that the Bay Road one-lane closure connected to the Wastewater Treatment Facility project is scheduled to begin the week of August 10 and that staff will coordinate with schools to discourage drop-off driving and encourage bussing or biking.
Lawless also reported that a large house fire on Bay Road two weeks earlier required repairs to water infrastructure; he said the home was saved and there were no injuries. Jason Booth, the project manager, described ongoing public communication efforts around the project timetable.
