Members Warrick and Larsen described participating in Night to Unite events, and Member Klingner said she joined the New Hire Bus Tour to meet new staff.
Member Niemioja expressed gratitude for community support in adding another School Resource Officer and welcomed new and returning staff, calling this the "199 Way Year." Chair Carrie Lounsberry reminded constituents that, while the board's role is policy-making, board members can help community members find answers and encouraged residents to reach out.
