The consent items included the minutes of the Aug. 20, 2024 business meeting; new contracts, amendments, leaves of absence and resignations; a Letter of Agreement with Nutritional Services modifying the work week for 2024–25; a Memorandum of Agreement permitting specialist teachers to take an extra section of students; and a Memorandum of Understanding regarding mandated READ ACT implementation training. The motion was moved by Nikki Auna and seconded by Sara Jones; the vote was unanimous (4-0).
The minutes record the board's formal approval of the consent items; no individual consent item was pulled for separate discussion in the meeting notes. Administrative staff will proceed with implementing the items approved under the consent agenda.
